Camber Wedges?

So I did a search but didn't turn up anything... which I thought was odd but does anyone have any experience with Camber wedges?

http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/x,cata...G_K100083.html

I realize camber plates are the real way to go but this is budget race build so trying to find cheapo ways to get some negative camber

I've heard of using them, but I believe that they are for a different suspension design and not compatible with the FB. BMW and Audi can use them (I own one of each).

Do it once, do it right. Bite the bullet on the camber plates and coilovers. You know you won't be happy with anything less, right?

those camber bolts wont work on an SA/FB but, if you're on a budget you could do something like these https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/a...a-ae86-corolla

or you could fab something like this http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1975-1...ion/14006.html

The cheapo way that scca people and such do it is slot the 4 holes in the tower where the strut top bolts to, you can only go about a half inch or so in and back with out coilovers before the top hat hits

Yeah this came up as an option too. That might be the way to go... maybe I could combine slotting the holes with the camber bolts...

Extending the controls arms is interesting. Maybe I could pick up some spares and attempt some fab work.

for someone not able to afford camber plates you sure seem anxious to wear out your tires quickly

since the 1st gens have POSITIVE camber in the front, which wears the tire in a cone shape, or it wipes out the outside of the tire.

running 0 or -1 camber actually IMPROVES tire wear, because the tire is actually flat to the ground

If the springs are not sagging, wich brings up a good question, how much neg. camber would he get with lowering springs?
