Oddly, I found that Holley air corrector jets fit the DCD's main jet holders. One can buy a full air corrector jet kit much cheaper than buying the Weber jets individually.

just got back from the nopi nationals, and only saw two first gen rx7's... both of which were fuel injected... both were five letter, one of which was turbo six port... both clean as hell!!!
i think next year i would like to take one of my first gens... my friend whos s5 vert we drove up in, says he would like to take his first gen next year as well... i didn't see any 12a convertions this year either... i think two years ago i saw an s10 low rider w/ a 12a in it... that was sweet!!! it would be neat to see some expressions on peoples faces that have never seen a twin weber set up in person..lol

Ah the dual dcd's. Just put 500km on them with my new motor and I must say they are great. Slight stumble from 2000 to 3000 rpm under light throttle so I have to work on them a bit.

Wanted to say that the main jet size RE used for the stock port 12A seems to be a 135.

Glad you got them running. I loved them when I had them. The mid range with a good exhaust is quite impressive, I thought...

No I have not done it. But it's the best solution since you can't get these carbs new anymore.

That's a beautiful engine bay, SGT Fox. Very well done.

Trochoid, is there any difference between the 12A and 13B set of DCDs that you have or are they just jetted differently but otherwise the exact same?

There is different jetting. I think the 12A have a smaller diameter choke installed as well.

Chokes/venturi and jets are different sizes. What sucks is Weber's take a special tool to change out the chokes. The DCDs are still available new or at least listed at Pierce Manifolds. It's the intakes that are no longer made.

Sgt Fox.

Any chance you have any videos or sound clips of your car running?

I love your engine bay and all the little extra things you've done to the car, it looks great

Is this thread dead? I have a set of webers on my 84 rx7. Having issues with idle adjustment. I must have a small air leak somewhere.. the chokes kill the engine when I use them on a cold startup. Main circuit worka great and pulls hard.
