Buzz then loud screaching noise

Ok, ever since I have gotten my 7 I have noticed that everytime I hit 4k rpms there is a buzzing noise like shift buzzer type thing. But if I hold it over 4k it screaches all the way till I redline it and then continues to do so until I get back under 4k. I am wondering what you may think/know this is and can I make it go away because it is really really annoying.

EDIT:Missed a letter that turned a nice word into a bad word.

listen out under the hood as u rev it and see if u can get an idea where the screeching noise is coming from. sounds like it may be a bad bearing like in the alt, water pump, or maybe clutch release bearing. might even be in the dist. it's odd that the redline buzzer would be coming on at 4k.

The company that rebuilt my motor shot some screws into the fan clutch to make the fan active all the time, possibly to hold me back during the break-in period. However, with the fan activated, I couldn't rev over 3500-4000 rpms or else the belt would squeal/screach. I've since corrected the issue and it still affects me during startup or hot days with bumper to bumper traffic when the fan engages (as it should). Anyway, while this wouldn't explain the buzzing in your situation, it may be something related or similar. Additionally, have you noticed any vibration associated with the sound?

Ok well the alt. and clutch release bearing have both been replaced so I will have to go take a look.
