Is this a bunch of crap or not??
I'm not to sure if this is even worth 20 bucks but I can do one myself real quick if it were to help. Anyone have any ideas on the effective ness or ineffectiveness of this device.
thanks

That has to be the biggest load of **** I've ever read. Supercharger? It's a bloody fan for ***** sake! The sad part is there's actually bids on it.
On a related note you can actually get electric superchargers.
The have a proper centrifugal compressor and an electric clutch so they only come on at full throttle. Maximum boost is about 5-6psi otherwise they'd draw too much current.

I was going to get one of these for my RX-7 GS-x and my RS. (I love my RS by far the best trim level) The discription had me sold till I read the following:
Unlike typical superchargers that get power from engine belts and can easily damage and blow cylinders,
I know I can't afford to replace my cylnders. Ohh well. What are you going to do.
