Bumps, hitting

What would cause a car's engine to bog and die when you hit a bump?

Loose electrical connection relating to the ignition system? Or a loose battery cable, bad grounding, intermitent short.... I'd start by taking a hard look at the ignition myself.

LOL, nevermind. I just saw that it was your fuel pump connection that was loose. Glad you got her going properly!
