Bumper reproduction underway.

Production is finally underway, i got about 1/4 of the bumper glassed for the mold and already hate it, very labor intensive. I spent over 2 hours for the first layer of glass covering 1/4 of the bumper, i'm going to probably set the price at $375 shipped in the United States. This isn't a set price, but should be close depending on the labor to actually knock them off, i may give or take some money from that. I'm shaving the "ridge" off the side so it looks less awkward on the car.

Any chance of making an entire body kit with this style? I'd be interested if I could do the whole car not just the front.

Yeah either that or try and hook urself up with some selectmaz sideskirts and rear apron so you could get a full kit and sell it for like 800-900... personally i think, like you said on aim, the euro SS with ur bumper would look dope.

www.selectmaz.com.au has some sideskirts and a rear bumper that would look great. click on the pictures of the "euro ss" kit. Unfortionately, i'm not going to make copies and rip off selectmaz, i don't mind ripping of blitz, they're a multi-million dollar corporation. The bumper isn't an exact copy of their's either, it was heavily modifyed to fit an Rx-7 and it won't include the pointless vents on the side.

Also, i can talk to the people of selectmaz.com.au for a total price of everything, you send me the money for their sideskirts, bumper, and my airdam, then i relay the money to them and have them ship it to your adress, i may lose a few dollars on shipping, but if it'll help me sell the bumpers as a full kit, i guess it's worth it.

The full kit shipped to your door will be roughly $1,175 I e-mailed them to double check their prices, i'll get back with you when they respond.

I don't even have photoshop on this computer, or even MSPaint for that matter. No photo editing tools whatsoever, but i can talk to someone about it and see what he can do.

I'll have to poke around to find what I like to match up with best. I think the Ultima rear bumber would go well with your front end but their skirts didn't impress me at all. I'll have to keep poking around to find a good match or do what I was planning on doing and ordering skirts for another import car with similar dimensions and do the mods myself. That's what you did with the Blitz bumper right? What car did you use to order parts?

It was from a dodge neon, but the only thing similar is the whole cut out in the front to the origional, it had to be lengthened, extended, ect. A mitsubishi eclipse has the same length rocker panels, if this helps.

Now the mold is stuck to the bumper, hopefully i can get that off.

*UPDATE*

The first few bumpers will need to have the molding removed or modifications done to them to fit under the fender trim/molding. After i sell a few of these i will go to a junkyard and pick up fenders with trim and then sell these bumpers as complete bolt-ons.

Greg the shipping would be a killer. Youd probably do better direct from Mazdartix since your not that far geographically. BTW, I call 2nds.

RotorMotorDriver-

That's why this car had to be a two seater. I needed sonething that didn't have crackers and fries mashed in the upholstery for a change. It's nice to get out of the car and have the ringing in my ears from the engine and not the kidlets. Couldn't even get away from them in the Cougar. Just try to get the Happy Meal toy out of the decor lighting in the back of a 34 year old car and not cry.

They will fit a '79, and yes the first few will be cheaper, just not sure how much cheaper. In your case FB II, they'll be the same price, you don't have fender trim
