bucking - solution to the problem
I had a problem. Under mid to heavy throttle position, under higher loads, the car would violently buck forwards and backwards. This happened especially up larger hills. I had to decrease the throttle to about 1/16th throttle to stop it from bucking, and often I traveled up large hills at around 10mph.
The solution to this problem that I have seen in other threads is that the fuel check valve (ball type) located on the "to the carb" fuel line, up near the firewall, right above the rats nest - that filter becomes clogged. If you simply buy new fuel hose and take the check valve out altogether and just run straight line in its place, the problem of choking is solved. My 7 now runs like it should and I'm really happy!
