bucking.....searched and testing igniter?

ok i got the 3k bucking problem..... so far the reasons i have found are clogged screen on fuel pump, AFM, leading igniter, injector wiring, and TPS......i recently adjusted my tps..so im ruling that.... but the odd thing is that it started after driving for maybe a mile to my gparents after a hard turn i just thought it was my gas being low when it sputtered and went on down the road and pulled in turned her off and stayed for 30 mins got back in left and floored it and at 3k it bucked...just last night it was just fine? so im thinking maybe my igniter...so how do i test it??? and what are other common things i didnt get???? thx

Well if the engine is running and the time circuits are on, there is only one thing left to check:

its not reaaly accurate but juts idle the engine and pull one of the ignition coil wires, and try not to get zapped, thats one way with out the test hayness has to offer.

lol ok if the flux capacitor is fluxing, you can test the ignitors by seeing if you're getting spark at the leading and trailing plugs. If you got spark, you got working ignitors. Got a timing light? easiest way to find out.

Ignitor are usually working, or dead. If it's intermittent, it maybe ignition wiring. Check the connections on the dizzy and at the coils.

With your description, my 1st check would be fuel related components, then the bac and the linkages for the throttle plates, providing the tps is dead on.

i dont mean to question u throchoid, but my tailing igniter was going off and on till it went completely dead, i could tell this because of the tach, the tach is hooked up to the yg wire wich is on the trailing igniter and the trailing coil, the tach was bouncing up and down, then went to 0 then to correct rpm till one day it died, problem solved though i got a new igniter, im an idiot though, i figured out how to fix my old one and dint return thenew one, o well.

The off and on charge through the ignitor may have killed it from overheating. I'ts my understanding that they work or don't. Don't worry about questioning me, I'm not always right and don't know everything, working on it though. lol

I say change the fuel filter and clean the screen then try running the car.
Also it would not hurt to buy some Seafoam at your local Autozone or Advance Auto and pour about half of the bottle in the gas and the rest in the oil.

Seafoam does wonders in the fuel and in the oil. It helps clean out the fuel system and carbon off the motor.

I had the same problem a little while ago, have you added anything other than gas in your tank recently? I had put some carb cleaner in mine with a half tank of gas in there and what happened was the gas got so thick the carb couldn't take it. Thus, the bucking and dying. If you did add something in your tank, I suggest emptying it out, buy a new fuel filter, put new gas in the tank and then add slow amounts of the mixed gas in every now and then, that should remedy the problem.
