Broken Suspension ______ Bar (fill in blank)

My rear driverside control arm or trailing arm, i dunno what to call it. Just what i thought it might be. It has Broke. I went to my local auto parts stores and nothing on this old of a car. Went to my local junkyard and the 1 1st gen rx7 there, didnt have this piece on the suspension.

I am looking online for where to get one. Or ideas to do with it.

here are some pics so you would know what piece i am talking about and where it is located. Pics are bad tho, taken with my phone. i can get some better ones if needed.

alright the pictures looked better on my phone. i will grab i couple better ones, just wanted to get my question out there. Also if someone knows the correct name of the piece that would be awesome.

its either from lots of hp, or if your car is stock, chances are somebody used the hollow steel suspension rod as a jacking point. i have those arms in excellent condition if you need one. pm me for details

Something bent it and it just took a while for the metal to work fatigue and then fail...I've never seen that before and I've wrecked my fair share of these cars...

its called your lower control arm/lower link. they take a beating over the life of the car. they can and do bend easialy and when broken can cause some funky rear end shifting when shifting gears and letting off the thottle. they are pretty simple to replace. two bolts per arm. you can get them through black dragon for about $120each or you can go here: http://www.mazdatrix.com/h6_79-85.htm
or post a want to buy ad in the 1st gen for sale/wanted section. or shoot me a pm if you want ot buy a used one.
