Broken oil lines to carb!

OMFG!
I was doing a routine inspection in the engine bay today, when I take a look at both oil lines coming from the omp to the carb, and they're broken at the point where they go over the alternator. I've no idea how long they've been like that! by sheer luck I have been experimenting with some MMO added straight in the gas tank for a couple of weeks now, in addition (or so I thought) to what normal oil the omp supplies to the carb. I wonder what would have happenned otherwise. Got those fixed now, and just in case filled up the gas tank and didn't add any MMO this time. Well that was a easy oil leak to fix . How long would the engine run before having problems if there was no oil going into the rotors?

It would just cause extra wear to the seals. It will run till it wears out. Not trying to be a smartass, just it will run for a while. Not like running without oil pressure. I once forget to hook the tubes back into the carb when I was doing some testing. Left them off for 3-4 days. Didnt affect the already crappy compression at all.

Call Ron at Pinnapple Racing.
He told me once that as long as the engine has been taken care of well over the past 15 to 20K miles it will not kill the seals to bad.
He did a rebuild back in March and the DumbF@#!$% i.e. customer ran with the lines disco'd for approx 10k without knowing that was the Dealer set it up because of an Oil Leak around the OMP.
Not that it would kill your Motor right a way, but not a good idea.
Face it Rotors are 2 stroke weither we like it or not.
As much time and$$$ we gots invested in these wonderful machines --Pre-Mix or OMP it's not worth the cost of short changing the Blood this concept has to work correctly.

If you really want to replace them and make it look original you can always order them. I know you can get them from atkins and probably racing beat or mazdatrix. If not then just use some vacume line or small fuel line.

I want to replace all the lines with alum. I think I can make it much cleaner looking that way and I know how to anodize them myself.
