bridgeport Q
Is there anyway to tell a bridgeport is a bridgeport without starting it up? Can you feel the port after taking the manifold off? Are the intake ports ported on the outside at all?
On that note, does anyone have any pics on the outside if that's the case?

Those ports are about the same size as stock, which is good since stock really is kinda big. However they appear really smooth in wall texture, which is bad since airflow is actually better over a rough surface vs a smooth one. Not to mention that a rough surface also helps prevent fuel from wetting out and then tearing off the wall in sheets.
Basically, I don't believe in doing anything to to port runners themselves. They're plenty big, if anything they might be better off filled a bit.
