Longer answer, You have NO torque in the low end. People do it for racing applications cuz you get better power above like 4000 rpm kinda deal depending on the port. It destroys streetability, reliability and longevity.

They sound sweet but really unless you race are useless IMHO

this is your best route...

saves more gas but going with huge street ports can allow you spend just as much on gas as a bridge port.. still just as safe as bridge...pick your card

Much better than a bridgeport and you have the potential to get much more power out of your car while retaining more of the reliability and drivability of your car. You will still lose a bit of low end but not too much.

Why do you want a large port?

yeah a bridge port for daily driving is not the best route...better weekend car...large street port or even a mild street port is good...but even then a large street port can waste just as much gas as a bridge...so make your selection very wise...
