all u guys been been asking what would work! so this is what i have done/doing.
lucky for me when i brought my 7 it had a TII brake booster already in it.
and then i got some 4 pot calipers off a s5. the mounting on the front stuts are different the the stock mounts. so off came the front stuts, i was going to make new mounts myself but i have a mate that does this everyday for his race team, so for a pack of beer and $ 75 bucks later he make new mounts up that bolt straight on to stut and caplier.
for disc rotors there arent many options, i have been told that the early 4 stud nissan skyline R31 and some R32 have the stud patten as a 7, but i havent looked into this to make sure. I went with a 84 7 rotor, same size i have on mine, the company who makes them can make vented and cross drilled. so these r going on!
i left the rear brakes standerd coz they are disc and most the braking power is the front. but if you have drums i would try to find a disc rear end and change it over.
and to make it look all pretty i got a custom made set of Braided hoses.
i have install it yet i waiting for the car to come back for the panelbeaters and the spray painters, but looking at it, it will work!

FWIW, the brakes and wheel pattern you guys got in '84-85 is what U.S. folk only got on the GSL-SE... all 12A cars in the US got the smaller brakes and 4x110 bolt pattern.
