brakes geting air
I tryed the search but no find. All right its been sometime I got to work on my car because well alot of stuff been going on. So we need to fix the brakes because some of them are ceased. So the pass rear side needed a rebuild. So we rebuild it and it works now and the hole rear. So we moved to the front to uncease them. the driver side works with no air in the lines but on the pass side there allways seem to be alot of air in the lines. So we put about 600ml of brake fluid in and out the brake line. The pedal goes to the floor every time but if i keep pumping and pumping it will not then if i stop for about 10 sec it will go back to the floor. So can it be the master cylinder be no good? If you know plz help.

Sounds like you've got fluid leaking past the seals in the master cylinder.
If you hold the pedal down lightly, and it slowly sinks to the floor, and there is no fluid being lost anywhere, then you have found your culprit.

I don't know of any test that would tell if it was good or not. If it has been out of use for a long time, or out of fluid, then the seals may be shot on that one too. I think I paid about 40 bucks for my MC at rockauto. Good luck...

Brakes are not something you should try to shortcut on. If they don't work, all the rest of your investment can be lost in a flash.
As Ken said, rebuilt cylinders are cheap and easily available, and installation is a couple hours work (bench bleed, first!). Worth their weight in gold if they avoid a brake failure.

not the master because thats been on the car for ever. but we did bleed ever caliper and the problem started when we hit the front pass. the rear and front driver side works but only on the pass front we get air.
