brake warning light

Hey guys, got a small problem - my brake warning light keeps illuminating when the brake pedal is pushed. checked them, and they seem fine, there is no loss of fluid or abnormal feeling in the pedal? any suggestions before i fly up the back of a truck! haha.

I would flush the system for one because really contaminated brake fluid can cause false brake warning lights, then I would check and make sure that the little parking brake levers on your back brakes are not seized and that the little float in your reservoir is freely floating. the only other suggestion I could give is make sure to check the reservoir when the warning light is going off (i.e. have friend sit in car and push pedal down until warning light illuminates while you watch reservoir).

It lights up when you press the pedal if one of your brake lights is out. Change the 1157 bulb, and she'll be apples.

check ALL of your bulbs again. remember, there are four (4) bulbs just for the brake lights, two on each side.

i must ask, which light is coming on? there's a "brake" light and a "stop lamp" light. mine it the "stop lamp." all 4 bulbs work, pulled the sensor from the brake resevoir to make sure it wasn't covered in dirt or anything that would make it send false signals and it's full of fluid. i have yet to figure out why it comes on. but when i do, i'll let u guys know.
