It really depends on what you mean by "you've done pretty much everything". Did you swap to a disc brake rear end? If not then that's the first thing on the list. If by everything you mean streetport, carb, exhaust, fuel pump, regulator, suspension, then all you will really need is a decent set of rotors, stainless steel lines, high performance pads and some really good brake fluid.

If your making more than about 170/180WHP then I would suggest the RE-Speed big brake kit. Any less than that and you should be happy with the first setup I mentioned. It's pretty much what I'm running and my heavy *** car will stop on a dime. Also remember that tires make the biggest difference in braking performance. If your tires suck then you'll just have great brakes locking up on every hard stop.

I got a Edelbrock 600, RB exhaust, fuel pump, regulator, new bushings everywhere, RE coilovers, Koni shocks, RB headers, Camden SC (7) got more but cant remember right now.

I would like to swap to a disc brake rear end but dont know where to start cause this is my first SA.
Where can i start.

Start by finding a used rear end with disc brakes, then swap it in. This will also get you a limited slip rear end. Pretty straight forward process, the only touchy part might be threading on the brake lines. Lots of info on this site if you search.

Brakes, definitely check out the Respeed brake kit. Greatly simplifies the process of upgrading to later generation brakes. www.re-speed.com

Well, even that (brake lines) won't be hard. Billy (re-speed) even has the SS brakelines that are made for this situation (SA car with later calipers installed).

correct me if i'm wrong, but i remember reading somewhere about GSL LSD being better than the SE LSD, something to do with gear ratios or something?....either way it's an LSD but just trying to give him something to shoot for.

yes the SE LSD is a 4:10 ratio and the gsl is a 3:90 I believe so better gas mileage at top speed the SE compesates for it in the gear ratio.

Lets make this simple. Can you lock up the tires on hard stops now? Are you roadracing/autocrossing and suffering from brake fade? Are you running taller or wider tires/wheels than stock?

If the tires are locking up easily, buy better tires. If the brakes are fading, buy better brake pads. If you've upgraded both of these and you can't lock up the tires or are suffering from brake fade, then it's time for the big brake package.

When I first installed the 15X7-9" Epsilons wheels with 225-245/50 15" tires, I could bring the widebody down from highway speeds quickly. Couldn't lock up the tires though and didn't do enough hard stops to check for brake fade. For that reason, along with now going to 9 and 10" wide rims and eventually even wider tires, I've opted for ReSpeed's big brake kit front and rear.

For something to compare braking to, my FC, which is a base model so it has 4 lug hubs and basically the same brakes as the GSL-SE. I've upgraded the wheels to 16X7 and the tires to 205/55/16. In panic stops, I can still lock up the tires, even though the FC weighs 400+ lbs. more

Tires dony lock up at all but the brakes do fade the harder i press.

Isnt the re-speed bbk for turbo 2 brakes only or do they fit normal FC 4 lug brakes, cause i actually wanted to swap normal FC brakes and discs.

TII, GTUs, vert, and GXL FCs all had the 4-piston front calipers, what we call the big brakes. The early base cars had 4-lug hubs and single piston brakes. Later base cars had 5-lug hubs and single piston brakes.

If you have 4x4.5 wheels, which are the GSL-SE and 4-lug FC hole pattern, you can use 4-lug FC hubs, redrill the 5-lug rotors, and use all the big brake hardware on the 4-lug hubs, reusing the wheels (if they clear the calipers).

If I were in your position, I'd likely look around for GSL car, swap in the rear end and big-bearing front spindles, then add ReSpeed front brakes. It's just up to you to decide which lug pattern and wheels you'd want to go with. If you can find a car cheap enough, you could even swap the SA supension back onto the GSL and sell the roller to recover your cost.
