brake pad clip question SE same as GSL?

I'm in need of a inner rear brake pad clip for my 85 GSL. It somehow fell off...dont ask me how. My question is is the inner brake pad clip for a GSL the same as a GSL-SE? I know the rotors are vented and slightly larger but maybe they use the same clips????

I find it a waste to buy the whole rear kit which has 4 clips and the shims to go along with it for like 30 bucks when all I need is one clip.

I have someone who might have an SE clip which is why i'm wondering.

Thanks guys

Well, I am not really sure. MazdaTrix lists two different numbers for the hardware kits and it does look like the shims are different, but I am not sure about the clips.

Sorry, I couldn't be more help.

NP. I hope that you get it figured out. I just listed the hardware kits because of the picture. I am not sure if they are different just because of the shims or if the clips are different too. I tried checking the parts microfiche to see what it said, but it doesn't list the clip as a separate part. I guess that maybe you will just have to try the SE clip if you can't find a GSL one. My guess is that the clips are the same, but who knows?

Well the callipers are different as well as the pads so,.... I would think the odds are against you.

Can't you just go to the bone yard and get some?
