Brake lines for Big Brake kit (FC Calipers)

For those running the big brake kit, what lines are you running? FC or FB lines?

Will either work or will there be issues with the length and/or thread pitch?

FC lines should work, but I used the lines RE-speed makes specifically for this.

I am not sure how the kit parts locate the calipers - we made our own caliper adapters, and the FB lines worked out just fine with a bit of rebending. We also used the FB lines for the rear conversion.

If you have no experience with metal forming, buy the custom made lines.

You must mean FC lines since the hardlines shown for your fronts are FC and the rear lines need the banjo and the FB lines do not have a banjo.

Not all FC's came with hard lines from the strut to the caliper. If you have sourced your calipers and do not have the hard lines you simply take the flex line all the way to the caliper.

The FB lines seal differently than the FC calipers. FB lines sealed on a crush washer under the hex. The FC lines sealed by the inverted flare fitting.

FB lines should never be used on a FC caliper. You can use the FC stock rubber lines if those came with your calipers. You can also use the FC hard line if those came with your caliper.

Our stainless lines go from chassis to the caliper and have the proper end sealing fittings.

do the stock FB parking brake cables work with the calipers or do you need FC brake cables? I couldn't tell from the picture.
