'84 S - orphaned part - can't identify
5 or 6 years ago I replaced the brake master cylinder. This past week, while cleaning out the garage, I discovered a box that contained the brake fluid level sensor switch (that I had neglected to reinstall) and another part I cannot identify. Picture attached.
The part sure looks familiar. I'm just guessing that I removed this part while doing the master cylinder swap only because I found it in the same box with the forgotten brake fluid level sensor switch. But I can't find any old pictures of the engine bay where this part is visible.
It is a yellowish, plastic material--dimensions approximately 1-1/2" x 1" x 5/8". Three channels run through its length.
Anyway, hoping someone might be able to identify this orphaned part.
(BTW--great forum you've got here.)
