brake kit

Does anyone know of a really good brake upgrade kit for the rx7 gslse? Maybe some pads that are good. Just something to help my braking.

Well you can start with some hawk hp+ pads, and then some cross drilled rotors would do you good too.

I'd start by flushing the system. Fresh fluid will make a difference.

With the SE you have the 10 inch rotors all around which are an upgrade from the standard 9 inch with drums in the back.

You can try to clean off the system by braking hard from 50 mph a couple of times in a row to heat the rotors and pads up.

If you feel really enterprising you can adapt the front brakes from a FC GXL but you will have a 5 bolt pattern in the front and the std in the back.

Check out the facts section of www.mazspeed.com for details.
