Bounce goes the RX

Maybe someone has seen this before. When I throw the car into a corner at a good speed, the back end seems to go out and bounce back in. Almost like I was bouncing off the curb. I have been working my way through the back bushings but can't find anything loose.

Any suggestions as to what else I should be looking at?

Thanks!

You might want to check your rear wheel bearings, sometimes they can have an effect like that if there is excessive play or a bad bearing.

Maybe the watts linkage is binding or the axle locating links are binding. Could be old bushings. It may not be looseness but hard or tight old bushings thats doing it.

Make sure the watts link attachment near the diff moves freely and doesn't bind. Not sure how to verify this, other than to disconnect the two link ends and move them around by hand they should be stiff but move consistently and the middle connector should rotate about its pivot as well.

Rear tire size and PSI could be coming into play here, as well. The stock 185/70-13 will have a lot of sidewall flex, especially if the air pressure is lower than reccommended.

Sidewall flex is what I am saying as well. Even me, with my, "ultra-high performance" 60 series tires I still get a little sidewall flex.
