I have an 85 12a manual. Is the cat that is used i the bonez cat that different from any other modern day cat out there? The way I understand it, is that there are only a few compnaies that make cats in the world. Carsound/Magnaflow being one of the largest.

Would there be any adverse effects on using a 2" carsound cat. Do I need a cat that has a provision for air injection?

I was just planning on buying a cat and some flanges from RB and then having a muffler shop assemble a pipe for me.

 

The bonez cats are setup for a direct bolt-up.
