bodywork

Hey guys. I have a big dilemma. I own an 82 FB that I really love, but the rust monster is having his way with her. The body panels are in fair shape (with the exception of the passenger rear), but the underbody has seen better days. The brackets for my upper control arms in the rear have torn off the body and although I've had replacements made fhere is a LOT of work to be done under there. I think I can eventually get to it all, but things would be much easier if I could get some ideas on repairing/replacing wheel wells etc. Is there a place that sells replacement wheel wells, or do I have to get them specially made at a shop? I live in Canada (Manitoba) so I don't think there's a large selection up here. One of the problems with replacing things in the undercarraige is all those #~$%~@ ridges, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I really love my X!

Thanks Hellbreed, that's a great restoration link. Don't have the expertise that guy has, but it does give me some ideas.
THX again!

If the rust is that extensive on the undercarriage, then it might not be worth it to fix it. I know how it feels to want to keep your car forever, but unfortunatly, without a ton of money and time its gonna go someday. You should bring it to a body shop and see what there opinion is. It might be salvagable.
