Bodykit Information

Hi all,
Does anyone know the make/type of bodykit that looks like a Porsche 944? I have this kit on my 1982 rx7- fiberglass guards/side sills, tail, front spoiler. I will post pics next week.

Is it a widebody kit? Mariah makes the Mode One kit that looks a bit like a 944 IMO.

Since you are down under, there was an Aussie company that made a kit similiar to your description. I don't know if they are even in business anymore and I don't think the kit is availible. PaulFitzwarryne would know that answer. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to RX7 facts.

Thanks all for the information! Glad to say that it is the DAYTONA as posted by OLD RX-7. It is Monza Red with the same Simmons Wheels (but Black centers), Recaro seats, 12a turbo, microtec injected. I look forward to posting the pics so you all can have a look. Regards.

Way back in the early 80s several Aussie firms produced Rx-7 body kits, for example Maztech and USC. Most rather than widebody designs like Mariah were limited to wheel arch flares. plus the usual front airdams and wings. Other than Selectmaz no one producers a range of kits anymore, but the original molds might be somewhere in storage. One remote possibility is New Gel at www.newgel.com.au who a couple of years ago were still supplying RX-7 components.
