Body Stiffness

Just wondering if there are any worthwhile mods in the area of making the body stiffer. Besides Strut bars/roll cage, is anything worthwhile? I know for the 2nd gens have a type of subframe connectors, would it be worth the effort? The 2nd gen forum also meantioned seam welding.
The reason im asking is, the car is Completely stripped. The only thing left at the moment is the front suspension which is getting removed at the moment, so now would be the time for anything of this sort.

You can duct-tape the body panels together... it might help and it weighs tons less than metal.

^^duct tape? wtf... that wont do shiet, just wear off in like a week...
what carl said is a really good thing to stiffen it up, also sway bars, and replace all the stock rubber bushings with polyurthrane or spherical joints(wich is just metal bushins and it'll kick ur *** on nthe street). also, if u have a sunroof, either weld the hole closed, or put a cross brace...
