I think what he means is that there is a very common one floating around, and he is wanting something that is not seen as much.

To some extent it is custom. The side skirts are Kaminari, the front is a TWR that has been trough a little "smothing" operation. Rear skirts are also Kaminari.

The car is actually a S1 (SA), with FB lights rear and front.

All of the bodyparts are blended into the original panels.

Cant take more pics right now, car is currently stripped, new paintjob planned!

Wheels are 4*108, mounted with "loose head" bolts. I`m planning on getting the axles redrilled to 4*110, or maybe just a GLS-SE swap (entire suspension, front and rear)

GPX mirrors? Dont know about that. Those are the original 1980`s euro mirrors i got of a donor car here in Norway.

I`ll get myself a camera one day, and start a project thread on the car, doing a lot this winter.. Hopefully it will be done in a couple of months!

hmmm. okay, then the so called "gpx" mirrors i've seen are simply sa22 "euro" mirrors. i really need to smooth out my body kit as well to the body, but can't till i get the cash to repaint which probably won't be for a while. are you sticking with black? keep us updated on the car's progress. you've got a nice one there. what's under the hood?

Thanks for the uplifting words! Actually im thinking about gunmetal grey, but since sticking to black would be a lot cheaper, im thinking about saving the money and upgrade the suspension.

Under the hood lies:

13B 4port with a mild street port, Dellorto DHLA on RB intake, RB headers to custom 2,5" exhaust. Planning on upgrading ignition, e-fan and other minors.
It has no AC, no emissons, no servo, no extras at all!

Keeping it oldschool engine wise!

From what I was told and can tell from the receipts, this is not a knock off. It's the real IMSA kit. But I get conflicting stories.

i got ahold of this guy. he says he never got around to making the airdam due to screwing up the mold. sucks eh?...i like that one too. i'd like to see someone else make something like that. there's not alot to choose from when it comes to body parts for the fb. i personally just picked up the 3 piece urethane air dam which is the original that mazdatrix/mariah/etc copies.

The photos below are of my car before the Pasific WB IMSA kit. I have a SP 13b onboard w/ Holley & RB intake, head to tail exhaust, sways & springs, Tokiko, Momo, etc. The air dam, spoiler thing works well for a street mod IMO. Maybe add some side skirts. HOW MUCH MONEY CAN YOU SPEND?

Well now if you have unlimitted funds go for the full IMSA race kit like was used in the 80s. Check out luim173s kit to start. There are a few other polished wide bodys here to admire. Dave Grimes has all Mariah has to offer & Steve84GTSII has an IMSA-like spoiler that is soooo sweet. Keep me posted as to how you go.
