I had a leaker once on my REPU. I replaced a section because I couldn't find a replacement. I'm going to have to do it again on an '81 S model.

Normal PSI is like 13 pounds. It probably doesn't change much at high RPM. The pump starts to cavitate up there anyway.

i had a radiator explode a few months ago around the same rpm the radiator was in terrible shape already because i droped the car on a jack and the radiator caught it, so i figured it was makin lotsa pressure that high. do you think i maybe have a blockage somewhere, the engine runs cool though.

if its the hose right under the oil filter, then that is very common. Mine split at the fitting where it runs into the block. I just cut off 2 inches then slid it on and reclamped it. Works fine no leaks. but you can re order a replacement for like $50

Yes. You can get a replacement hose for around $50 new. Mazdatrix or the dealer is where I'd check.

You can actually do it with standard 5/8" heater hose, but you gotta expend some time and ingenuity, but it'll only cost you a couple bucks.
