my car overheated the other day, and i just put a new dual belt alternator pulley so i went for a spin to see if it changed anything. well it overheated again and i also noticed something didnt seem right. it runs smooth, but a little quieter, and a little slower. what could be wrong?

no the guy who owned the car before me took out the cats and put a presilencer in

 

It's not an apex seal, your engine would be running like ******... revving to 6k just to hit 30km/hr... it's something else, not sure what though.. Maybe timing?

it wasnt like this before, only after i overheated it so its a problem associated with overheating just not sure which one.

 

your water temp sensor... change it...

 

already did a few days ago, but what does that have to do with the power loss/quietness?
