Wow, I'm running 220's on the mains, and like 45 or 50f9 on the idle jets! haha, and I've got a 12a with a streetport

I seriously need to do some tuning.

haha, that's how I feel half the time. It sucks sometimes knowing that youre probably the only person you can rely on to get your car straight, but it's pretty nice once you do get it in top shape.

Mine is down now too, the really old stock engine died. When it was up and running it was reliable enough I believe to autocross. I made about 25 passes at the 1/8th mile track and drove it home with out a problem. I guess the thread was too long and I missed the problem you are having. Ill tell you it took almost a year for me to work out the bugs in mine.

What did you do to work them out? where did you reference your FPR? Right at the turbo or at the carb hat, or in the manifold. What fuel pump were you using?

put 36mm venturies in the carb, that will fix alot of your issues trust me!
also try smaller air correctors. like140's and get a fuggen efi pump!!

the chargepipe and turbo add alot of restriction to the intake so you have to tune all the idle and offboost stuff with everything hooked up.
100% correct mikey!!

hyper4mance2k: I Installed my Walbro 255 tonight, made a big difference in the performance of the car! I can really tell I wasnt getting enough fuel at full boost. Did you happen to have any problems iwth the car stuttering and losing power at high rpm's/full boost? I dont think it's knocking, but more of a popping noise coming out of the exhaust. It's weirding me out, i'm afraid to drive the car

the popping is most likely your weak ignition system cutting out from the safe rich mixture.. what spark plugs are you running? are you running msd 6a boxes? get some b9eg, or b9ev or b9es spark plugs from your local motorcycle shop, gap the plugs to .015 and your sputtering should be gone

Yea actually I think that's the first time I got straight owned on the forum. Now If I can only find a pump locally. I hate waiting for shipping. Especially since I need to get this thing going by the drive next Saturday. Although I did find the wallbro pump online for $119 @ lightningmotorsports.com.
