Blow through on 13b 6-Port ?

I searched really didnt find anything. I ment to put 6 port in the title but I hit P instead srry. Im kinda new to this blow through, I plan on do it to my Rx7 later on. Im just wondering if I can do the blow through set up on my 48dcoe sidedraft or should I go down draft? And also will the blow through even work on a 6 port motor? Thanks

Hey k, i didnt know you were out to try a blow through project. I was before but then i just didnt feel like it. The dcoe48 you got is really good for a blow through, even better if its street ported. Your going to need to have the carb preped with stronger float bowls so it doesnt get crushed under boosting. Im not an expert with this but i know theres more than one way of preping the carb.Best bet is discussing this with 680rwhp12a(rotaryshack). Your going to need a pleium made, locked dizzy, better to have it intercooled, and other various stuff that im sure you know already. If you do end up doing this you really should put in some T2 rotors. With high comression you cant boost a lot without running into somekind of predetination. I will chat with you more tomorrow online about this.

The principle is the same. Only difference is if you want the aux ports operational or wired open.

You blocked where the actuator rods were or the aux ports themselves? Fwiw, the RB uim for sidedraft for carbs such as your's still allows the aux ports to work if you want to keep your low end. I also happen to have one for the S4 lim if interested.

PM 680RWHP12A (Robert at Rotary Shack). he can do some pretty cool things rotaries, turbos and carbies. it may be a stretch between the Island and Cali, but it can't hurt to talk.
