black magic 150 fan, wiring question

i have my bm 150 fan installed in my 84 gsl-se and it works flawlessly.
there is one wire left to hook up and i am unsure of where to hook it.
it needs to be connected to the ac clutch positive wire.
is that the thickest wire that goes to the ac pump?
thanks

I wouldn't bother. When you're moving, you don't need need the fan to cool the engine or the help the AC; and when you're sitting still, the engine needs the fan to be on...

Look at the a/c compressor, there should be a black (i think) wire going to it, should be the only wire. splice into that. Bouis, maybe your confused or I'm reading you wrong, it wires it so that when you turn on the a/c the fan will go on, so when your sitting still the fan makes the a/c and car remain cool.

No, with the ac switch, the effect is that the fan is on nearly all the time, on the highway, when you don't need it.

Without the relay, the fan will be off while you're on the highway, and will be on while you're moving slowly or sitting ANYWAY.
