Better gas mileage after mods???
I have usually averaged 24-26 MPG overall.... but in long highway trips i get better.. My best (stock) was 28MPG. After getting pineapple racing sleeves, Rb header, hi-flow exhaust, K+n air filter, I got 33 MPG over a 500 km trip... (side wind) this is also with occasional sticking rear brakes... Is this common? Also, i think that i fix the brakes i will get 35 - <40 MPG...

Yep, it's common. By removing exhaust restriction, the engine becomes more efficient. I take it those are Imperial gallons (4.5ish liters per) correct?
I was worried my MPG would drop dramatically when I put the ported engine in... turns out my mileage went up around 25%! (from about 20mpg to 25mpg US gallons... in Imperial terms that's 25mpg to 32mpg)

Not true for aftermarket carburators, I'm sure as hell about that one... lol. I get about 100km less per tank as I did with the Nikki. The power is more than worth it though

I'm at 12.5 MPG with hard road driving with my modded Yaw (Yaw carb w/additional mods).
It does suck at fill-up time, but SilverRocket is right; It's more than worth it!
