i gotta agree with the k8 tornado silver action with metallic flake. followed closely by whatever black came on the S3 models.

I am getting ready to paint my car Gun Metal Grey. I did paint the engine compartment, ill try to upload a couple pics. It is going to match my rims.

 

Dude carl...what the hell kind of body kit is that all over your RX-7??? It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! I think that's probably the best all around body kit I've seen on a first gen to date...the side skirts, front air dam, rear bumper...

That ****'ll give people tha BUSINESS!

Mazdatrix makes a kit exactly like it, but I have the one made by Pacific. So, I guess the answer to your question is yes, kind of. Heh.

There's a maroon one on (I think) the second page of the first gen gallery thread that caught my eye, but I really like those greys you folks are showing, too. I've been thinking British Racing Green with tan interior, but after seeing those greys and that maroon, I'm reconsidering.

I own a tornado grey which we're in the process of a complete paintjob... all the dents fixed and emblems shaved... It's staying Tornado Grey on top, and it's going to be Black Mica (from the Mazdaspeed Protege) on the bottom... should look pretty good

My SA LE was black with red pin-stripe, but it's Tornado now, the clear coat didn't last and the 1st owner had it painted. I love it, but can't wait to get it back to Black.

Lots. But it's 12 years old and still looks as good as new. All molding, locks, emblems and rear windows were removed. Inside of the doors, the engine bay and anything else you look at was covered. Also all the dings and dents were removed without any Bondo.

 

Is your car in a dealership?

I like the GSL gold. It's a color only a grandma car would have, adds to the "smashing on idiots all day" value of the car.
