My SA came in this killer black, it's nice because you can't see the rubber molding, which looks like **** in any other color.

looking back at the very first pic in this thread, is it just me or has the black paint all been rubbed off from the metal parts just outside of the window moldings? It looks that way, and I think it looks cool! Creates sort of a classic look that brings it back a little further towards the beginning of the 70's. I almost wanna throw many-spoke wheels with (gasp) spinners on it and go for a classic-british-sportscar look. Maybe I'm crazy.
Oh, and my car is (I think) the "havanna brown", but I think these cars look best in very dark colors. IE, the dark grey, also that very dark blue posted early on, as well as the black. I'm looking at getting mine painted a super-dark blue I saw on an Audi TT, and then throwing a set of bronze watanabes on there. (after i win the lottery)

All the window trim on these cars is black painted chrome. You could definitely remove the black paint, but then why would you want chrome on a sports car? Unless it's British, I guess. They seem to like that.

I once test drove an SE that was white with orange pearl. It was kinda cool looking.

I'm taking my car to get painted in a few weeks: it'll be black with a lacquer finish with two thin candy apple red gt stripes and chrome trim... I'll post pics once it gets out of the shop...
