Sweetness....I hope it goes to a good home!

BTW, seems the top was chopped for a small funky looking sunroof.

Hahha you spelled cylinder wrong

Ebay doesn't have an option for rotary engines, because they suck like that. Most people put either "Don't Know" or "4-Cyl."

My sunroof looks like that one(and worrks like it too)...minus that big weatherstripping peice...which would be nice becasue it is atarting to rust around it(I thought that was how the sunroofs were in 79-80)

Yeah, I though there was 2 options for a factory sun roof. The big removable one and the pop up one. My friend almost bought an 83 GSL with a pop up glass roof. The guy insisted it was factory when I asked him about it.

Haha, "100% original". Sure, if you dont include the steering wheel, shift ****, stereo, subwoofer, etc. Damn nice car though.

That sunroof is stock however, they were different on the SAs (79-80).

BTW Lotus, an 83 GSL wouldve had a stock sunroof, and there was a factory option to buy a glass insert for it for all FBs, I have two of the glass sunroof inserts, and I used to have one on my 83 GSL.

no that is not a stock sun roof, the stock ones are alot bigger, I have an'80 with a sunroof it is the same size as all the FB's and the same mechanizme and the moonroofs are the same aswell, there would be no sense in having different sizes for the moonroof and sunroof.
but that is a beautiful car

Alright, well lets not argue about it, but I gurantee you, Mazda had two different sized sunroofs on their cars. Im not sure what the productions were, or why some had one and the same thing had others, but I promise, they had two different ones.

They probably had the factory option sunroof, and others that were a dealer option sunrrof. I've seen sa's with both styles, and in a lot of cases, the owner insists that it was stock. Maybe I'll research it a bit.
Oh yeah, nice car. $3850 and the reserve isn't met.

'79s were the only year with the non-standard sunroof. '80-85 had the same roofs.

If it were me, I'd be wanting it to have everything option a GSL-SE came with, and a turbo to boot. I'm not much for stock collecting. For whatever reason, I don't empathize with automotive purists.
