What gauge wire is recommended from the starter to fuse box? Also, where do most of you run the wire through the floor or firewall to get to the starter?

Cool, Thanks Mel, now I'm just looking at ideas on where to pass the wire through the floor. I have read of a few people cutting their shifter boots and passing it there, any other methods out there?

I dont like the idea of runing it thru the shifter section.

Run the battery cable from the passenger side to bin to the driver side, under the carpet then I used a drilled a hole thru the driver side firewall (using a with a grommet of course). Or once you can run the cable also thru the speedo cable hole.

I have a super dooper large crimper (as big as bolt cutter) for cable ends. You can borrow it if you would like.

Cool man, I may give you a call this weekend to borrow it depending on what kind of connectors I use. Also, I was thinking of running 0 gauge wire from the battery to the starter just because it seems like that's what most of the connectors out there are for even though it's probably overkill. I found a pretty good write up for a 3rd gen here:

the sooner I relocate it, the sooner I can do my intercooler piping
