Like it or not, hp is hp, the numbers are amazing. One should ask themselves, "Would I turn it down if I was offered the car, rotary or not?" I suspect very few would say yes.
The more insanely fast 1st gens out there the better, imho. Perhaps there is a bit of jealousy among the purists? Philisophically speaking of course.

Hey guys I have a question. Don't flame me, I'm just a chick wondering
This car putting out 439 HP and 443 Ft Lbs of torque is only doing 12's?
My hubbys car did 12's on his b18c5 (I remember because he got disqualified for hitting 12's and not wearing a helmet at route 66 raceway) and it's not as extravagant as that built supercharged Ford Cobra engine. Why is that? With such a power house you would think it would go faster than that. I asked Carlos the same question and his reply was, "It's a Ford" Smart ***!

Oh! I remembered something that I threw in his face for being a smart ***. That same day that he was racing, he got his *** handed to him by a rotary Starlet. It was a thing of beauty. Green light, and the Starlet got up in two wheels and made Carlos look as if he was standing still.
Anyways, sorry for jumping off subject.

I bet with the motor in their the little FB gained a few hundred pounds lol. I would not buy such a car for more then 5 grand. If I would buy the car I would pull that wreched piston pusher out and swap in a rotary. I would basicly be buying the car for its clean boddy.

That is a really nice FB, rotary or not!
With that kind of power, I can understand traction limited 12 second E.T.'s, however, I would expect more than 116 mph in the 1/4 mile (maybe low 120's) with such a good power to weight ratio.
Regardless, someone will be very happy when they buy it, I bet it is a blast to drive.

$24,500? Roflmao, an FD with that engine combo wouldn't get that much. Also, 439rwhp seems low for the build it has. 347 with 10psi on a Procharger? That's usually a recipe for ~500rwhp...

car.
