All Japanese Fb/Sa had rear seats as per their transport law. You can easily install a Fc rear seat into an Fb with minimal alteration to the Fb.

What he said. I have a 85 GSL-SE that I inherited from my parents. My dad originally put in the rear seats so that they could take me and my brother driving when we were like 3... Now, I'm not very big (5'3") but when i sit in the back, the only way i could imagine it being comfortable would be if i had both of my legs cut off along with my head... It'd probably help if i had a few inches of my shoulders cut off too... trust me... the only thing these back seats are good for is keeping my books and papers for class from moving around in the back.

I saw some rear seats at the junkyard and I was excited untill i realized that you can't fold the seat back with someone sitting there. If you were an exceptionally tall dude, you could probably take out the front seat and use the "back seats" to plant your butt.
They're not seats in my opinion, they're just a shelf.

I think the only practical use is when your short wife is sitting passenger and you have a small child behind her. I suppose you could have a baby behind the driver.

I had my 6 feet tall brother on the backseat once, he wasn't very comfy
Rear seats came stock for European cars, but I threw mine out. The most intresting point about them is that they came with a roll-up cover for the trunk. That's a bit neater, and the seat keeps stuff from flying around. Other then that, they are of litlle use. Got two sets here, but shipping to the USA would be a bit pricey

Pretty much all RX-7's here is Aus are registered 4-seaters. I've actually never seen a "genuine" 2-seater lol. Although I'd have to agree with the above comment that you'd have to be some sort of amputee to have a comfortable ride in the back seat. As there is literally no leg room, once the front seats are all the way back lol
