Back in the first gen fold
I just purchased a Canadian 1984 S. I haven't had a first gen in 8 or 9 years. Any first gen specific things I should look at? I would also like to know how to loop the circuit on the coolant light. I have plenty of coolant and a working temp guage, but the Low Collant light is always on. I just want to loop it so that it always reads ok. Anyone know how to do this, or should I just remove the bulb?

Coolant Level Sensor
If I were you I'd go to a junk yard, and pick up a new Coolant level sensor. They're located on top of the Rad, the little Bolt with the wire comming out of the top. Might as well try to fix the system you got now, instead of destroying it. A new level sensor cost me 3 bucks at the local yard. Goodluck

Thanks. I'm on my second sensor in my FC but even it has some tantrums occationally. I've never been a huge fan of warning lights, they just seem to annoy far more than help.

I still have the FC. I'm adding to the collection.
You wouldn't happen to have any extra 4X110 wheels sitting around that yard of yours, would you Paul? I've got the 165 footprint Canadian steels and I would love to buy a set of alloys. Even the standard US 13" cross would work.
