Ok so sadly I have an automatic 1985 non lsd rx7 with drum brakes in the back and I was wondering if instead of replacing the entire rear end if I could instead just swap the axle shafts and put new rotors and brakes on it

i could be wrong since i've never done a drum to disk swap but i'm guessing the drum rear doesn't have the caliper mounting point unless that bracket just bolts to one of the 4 holes that retain the axle shafts.

if that’s the case then I can make a bracket for it but I’m just curious as to if the axle shaft will fit into the dif because I can’t seem to find a complete rear end for a gslse anywhere

as long as the axle shafts used is 84-85, these have the large axle. the earlier ones had a smaller diameter shaft.
