Had mine for a while now....4-point,run of the mill Autopower unit.
It installed easily and is almost never in the way of anything.Their paint sucks,so be ready to either re-paint or powdercoat it.I had mine coated to match the interior.....it cost more than the actual rollbar.....good thing it was an X-mas present!

Mine is very similar except I have a couple more cross bars. I had the full cage but since the car is so small inside the bars were too close for comfort. I will probably just go with a custom unit in the future. That being said, the autopower is a great bolt in application.

Here is mine (though the bar was slightly modified when I got it.
Install was fairly straight forward, though it didn't line up quite perfect and took some tweaking to get it in. Don't need headligher removed, but trim does need to be removed/modified a little bit (mostly the leather part, but I just left mine out).

Is this a bolt in unit or did you weld it in? Id like to see some pictures of how it attaches. Also, how do you have your fire extinguisher mounted? Is it mounted to the roll bar?

Just has some load spreading plates that go under the car and inside the fenderwell. On my rockcrawler,I only do weld-in since there is much more chance of a roll-over.But on the RX,this is fine since I dont actually hit the racetrack much.
The extinguisher is mounted with self tapping screws into the side upright and the plastic mount plate/strap that came with it.Ill probably move it over to the pass. side for better access some day.
C'mon guys,where are those extinguishers......cheap insurance!

That is still an Autopower unit. Take a look at the 3rd picture on the top center portion of the bar. I have the same unit except mine is a 6pt.
1. Yes, you cannot get into the passenger side compartment. I removed mine from the hinges and now I can just "slip" the cover off. If you relocate your battery to this side it would be a major PITA to replace batteries. This is part of the reason that I used the drivers side compartment.
2. The bar that comes across the passenger seat is in a horrible location. With my seats(corbeau) it leaves the passenger very little room to stretch their legs.

With mine, there is no interference with the passenger side seat.,it will go all the way back.
The only clearance issue is the passenger side bin not opening, which doesnt matter since the hinge has been broken forever.I can slip the lid back and off,but the only thing I keep in there is the battery so I rarely have to deal with it.

yep, my bin is 'broken' I just lift it off if I needed to get to the storage bin errr battery
no issues with leg room for either seat. they both still tilt and function regular.
aws I havn't had any issues with the harnesses wearing the seats out, granted they have only been in for a few weeks.
What should I be looking out for ?

i have a pair of FD R1 seats also and ive just thought id have issues with harnesses wearing through them when i install them. i thought about trying to find some material like sparco uses and reinforce the area. im just not sure what to use or how to secure it.
