AUSSIE 1st gen PICS

Hope I posted this in the right forum!

I just bought it off an older man who has had it for 18 years and has every receipt from day one total in receipts $18,000, been serviced everytime. I'm now the third owner of her, was resprayed two years ago, cause original paint had faded. Drives like it is still new no knocks, rattles, steers dead straight by itself. I can't get over it, don't want to boast but I think its the best kept orig (STOCK) 7 i've seen in a long tym, i'm not by far sayin its the best 7 i've seen, "notinlovewithmyself" heres some specs
85 s3 12A A/C"cold"
cruise s/roof and optional glass.

Everything works amazingly for twenty years old. only one problem though. had to replace trailing ignitor "not cheap", got away with $100 though. Any way tell me what you all thing. Don't really like the two tone colour, but probably go all Silver 2pac. Cheers Jay

That car is awesome, I think the two-tone sets it off though.

That looks like the one that was stolen a couple weeks ago, same paint ect. The only difference was the wheels.. check the VIN... you may have a stolen car.

That's right, someone else with the same paint scheme down in Australia had his stolen, so I'd suggest buying some pitbulls and motorized gun turrets to protect it from thieves.

May I also suggest:

Edit: Sorry, it only works in Firefox and not Internet Explorer.

The Aussie SE came in two tone as standard so they are very common.

I believe the photos are all genuine, the 14" tires look to be large perhaps 205s which fill the wheel arch even without lowering. The apparent difference in the two shots is due to the angle of shadow.

Wonder where the wharf is, the old square rigger ship in the background looks familar.

I'm remember that car that was stolen, I did ask for that guys VIN havn't checked out the post since, I will though. I'm pretty sure it isn't stolen cause every receipt since 1987 is under the guys name that I bought the car off, and recently have transferred it into my name so if their were any problems I would know by now. But can never be too sure though. Jay

I really doubt its stolen. I was posting in that theft thread from the time he first posted to when he found it... wait he found it. So if he found it then its impossible for this Rx to be the one.

But damn pretty nontheless.

They average between 3,000 to 9,000 over here 4 a good one, I paid 4 after a week of negotiating prices, without RWC/REG.
