I logged in this morning and nearly crapped myself at all the long-dead threads resurrected!
Oh well, at least I got to again see the pics of my bridgeported center housing and Max7's widebody

It sucks ***, but the posts are pretty funny. It would appear his english is not perfect so it's humorous without any effort on his part. Maybe he doesn't understand that we don't give a sh*t about threads from last August anymore.

should have scrolled down farther. i see what all of you are talking about. yea stop him, it's annoying, what an idiot, that one post is from last august, why are threads that old still around to be responded to. They should be closed but still available to read.

The situation is being handled, thank you for bringing it to our attention.
After reviewing many of his posts, I don't think he is trying to be malicious about it (at least from the ones I read), but we have contacted him in regard to posting habits.
As for the old threads being available, they always have been. It's the same reason that when someone does a search, they can still reply to a topic even if it was originally posted quite some time ago. I think it's a nice feature really, but that's just me. As far as I know, the admins would have to look into changing that...

I don't think it is the idea of not supposed to be able to drag up old threads, it is te dragging up of an entire month that was around 10 months ago. But, if he was not meaning to be malicous about it, that is cool. Just an odd sight for a Tuesday morning eh?

The same hting happens on Usenet... you get someone whose netfeed maintains a long history and when they start reading they read the old articles first... and they start replying to 3, 4, 5 month old articles (which is EONS old in Usenet where many newsservers only maintain 2 or 3 days' worth) and it gets annoying.
I agree it's not a BAD thing that we have access to the old articles, and sometimes replying to an old article is warranted... but sometimes people don't know the proper netiquette

well I don't have any problems with somebody bringing up old posts, BUT NOT 30 of them in one day. I mean all the posts that were recent and USEFUL now moved to 2nd and 3rd page and nobody will even bother to read about them.
that's just my 2cents
