Atlantarx7 good or bad?

My fiancee just ordered me a set of 1983 LE wheels from this company.

www.atlantarx7.com

They were listed on the website for $360 for a set.

I called the guy and he told me he dont have any for sale. Yet he took the creditcard order on the website.

Anyone ever deal with this guy?

Thanks in advance.

J

I would call my credit card company and ask them to stop the payment. I believe there is also some one in the for sale section selling a set of those wheels for cheaper. But you might have too search for them.

But I have never delt with that company but if he says he doesn t have them I would go with his word and request you creditcard company to stop payment / refund your money.

I would do as "Rx Seven" said.

Then I would send Aussiesmg a PM, as he just listed a set for sale.

Hope you get this worked out.

I have talked to the guy on the phone a few times but I haven't bought anything from him. Fortunately for me I suppose I only live about 1 hour from them so if I ever do deal with them it will be in person. Im with Rx on this, call your credit card company. And call atlantarx7 and try to find out what the deal is. Im just giving him the benefit of a doubt but he may have told you that because he sold them on the net and not realize he sold them to you. One the other hand , he may need to be put out of business. Let us know how this works out.

I second or third everything said above, unless he can provide a tracking number for the shipment contact your credit card company. Tell him your going to do it, if he can't provided proof of shipment.

I have bought stuff from this guy. I live in ATL and have just driven to the location. Unless things have changed this is a one man salvage operation. I believe he is generally a good guy, but runs a real amature operation. He has been fair with me, but then again I am usually helping him find that stuff I want.

Did your credit card actually get charged or did he just take the number? I bet you don't actually have a charge. My experience with them has been positive although I didn't end up buying anything from them.

Well if he doesnt want to sell them, then he needs to take them off the site... End of Story!
