ps. When is the emissions compliant 450 cfm carb coming out? I'm getting impatient...
We4ll, I'm working on an exhaust dump that is about 25% exhaust, and 75% clean air pumped from the air pump. The other 75% of the exhaust just goes through a perforated pipe for dispersemnet to atmosphere.

What? Not good?

Great, billy- point well taken...but already familiar to me.

Firstly, I'm not on the internet. I'm on a forum filled with friends. When I go to a 'new' place where noone knows me, I type carefully, restainfully, and with heaps of "nettiquette" (just so I don't **** off uptight people like you). However, I find that there are usually two types of auto enthusiasts that come to forums like these; the ones with clean nails, and the ones with grease under them.
...The ones with grease under their nails are usually the ones with a sense of humor. It does'nt take long to figure out who's who.
You, however, seem to be an exception to that 'rule'.

Secondly, I'm not going to tread eggshells here or elsewhere for fear of saying/typing something that might upset someone, causing the possible loss of a potential sale. It's not the reason I'm here.
I was here long before I started offering carb mod services, and I did it by popular demand here, on this board! I'm not the type of person who's going to stop being "me" and get all fake and super-agreeable to try to sell carbs to people. The members here are'nt stupid. They already know how/who/what I am, so even if I could keep up the facade of good behavior, they would know I've changed in order to try to sell carbs.
I'm just a backyard mechanic like most here, but with the advantage of having a few machines. They're bought and paid for and very used, but they do what I need. I do it for fun. Do you get to have any fun running machines anymore?
If you want a customized Nikki carb, you should do your homework by searching. The searches will speak for themselves, and my name will be among the few that pop up with good advice attached- occassionally presented with very obvious attempts at humor. There are a handful of others that will do the mods, also.

IMO, anyone who decides not to buy a carb from me because they felt that this thread, "******** Please Stop Double/Triple Threading!" -posted with complete and utter disregard to any of their computer problems or the 95% chance that it was purely accidental- actually outwieghs my Nikki carb contribution "service" to this board, are probably people I don't really want to get tangled up with business-wise, anyhow.
This thread had nothing to do with CARB SERVICES!!!

...Kinda funny as I see this regurgitation of my keyboard - all to answer you as thouroughly as I could, billy. Big deal. You don't need a carb from me anyway, right?
But don't anyone new here think for one moment that this is a defence I'm writing because I fear carb sales losses by those who read the title of this thread and think I'm too much of a jerk to buy from. That's my whole point- it's simply not why I'm here. I could just entitle a thread, "Pictures of Billys Sister Fresh Outta The Shower!...", and then pitch my carb mods!
But I don't do that.

And normally when poked with a stick, I hit back with a bat. You decided to poke at the ONLY thing I know anything about here.

If you're not gonna pitch Motorsport products here, then loosen up.

And then you read this thread and were offended?
Or got laid off?
Or decided to put a V8 in there instead of fixing the carb??

Finish this thought, pllleeeezzzzzeeee....

Anyhoos....double posting here means that you post a reply....the Forum seemingly won't take it, so, like a chump/noob, you hit the submit button again....now you've posted the same thing twice...and then, you get the "404 error" screen, so you refresh, then hit submit again and now you've triple posted and contributed nothing to further the debate or build on the rotary knowledge here in this normally sanguine corner of Jason's world....

Well you can always send it off to Carl.
I don't think I've ever read one self-righteous, condescending, obnoxious, bullheaded, narrow-minded, cynical, snide, attitudenal, dick-headed, self-inflated, knee-jerked, accusatory, instigating, antagonizing, argumentitive, fuckfest-inducing post/responce written by Carl.

He knows more about carburetion than I do, more about cars than I do, more about racing than I ever will, more about flow dynamics than I do, and has way more abition and motivation than I do.
-Plus he's got a great, non-abusive sense of humor.

Christ, he's the anti-Sterling!

(Of course you know this is a ploy by him and me to sell our carbs...It's the old good cop - bad cop routine! )
