In their defense, this forum server/software/administrator is and has been crappy for quite a while now. We all know this. Response time is awful. The owners of this site have promised new hardware but have produced nuthin'. I even donated money (the fool I am) so that they could get the hardware. Personally I think the current hardware is find and they simply don't know what the heck they're doing. /rant off

yes, this server is being mega gay. but one click until you see the 404 error thing or whatever. then go back and click again. just a reference for the people who are just now seeing how slow this site is. hahaha

agreed im in school and work so i dont have 5 hours a day to go through and weed out all the 20 duplicate threads, in my spare time im working on my cars so learn how to use the internet.. (damn what a run on sentance)

Dennis, just like double and triple posts, the multiple threads are caused by the same ****. THe server gets bogged down and people click the button more than once.

You might want to remember that not everyone has DSL/broadband/wireless connections before you start labelling these "********" This server is known to have problems every once and a while. many times newcomers don't know about it and click the "submit reply" button again and again because the proper screen did not come up.
But of course, you're right, these people ARE ********, because they either have bad connections or don't fully understand this website. Shame on them.

I dont know if this is true for any of the other people who have double/triple threaded, but sometimes my computer will reload a page by itself even if I only press the button once so there is nothing I can do about it. Don't blame it on me, blame it on my shitty computer

Yea I agree about the response time of the forum. I'm on cable at home and T1 at work. The forum just boggs down serious and who knows how your post is going to work. There's times that I go to the top page and it says loading for minutes--on cable--yea right.
Sometimes people put alot of time in the message and don't want it to get lost. If the forum was more responsive I think the triple posts wouldn't be as bad.
And if you haven't donated any money you got no right to bitch about it (the forum or the triple posts)--that's my rant.

I've had this problem many times. The server gets so bogged down that it can take up to 2 minutes to load a page. For example, when I tried to post this reply, it took almost a minute to load the page. WTF is with that. I have Sympatico highspeed.

Ignorance was a good choice. We're not pass the 25th yet, when he'll begin just PLANNING the changeover to the new host...y'all waited long enough for the rack and pinion scam, I can't see why Jason should have to move any faster with all the other stuff he already has on his plate.
And a little patience will also stop all of the moronic noob double-posting.

I have plenty of patience. The only problem is that I use it all up on this forum waiting for pages to load. I know he is going through an upgrade, and that is great. But for now I will just shut up and mind my own business.
