well mine came to me free still in the bag with the glue mazdatrix sends with it when i bought my SA. the PO bought it from mazdatrix but i would have went through VB myself also, unless there was some difference, which i highly doubt

I think that's wrong, my fall 2005 VB catalog has it for 80 bucks... I'm pretty sure all these places are getting their dash caps from the same source.
I think they should work well, I've seen walkthroughs on the web for the installs of them for other cars, I'm thinking about getting one soon.

i mean i think it will work very well, im just afraid it might not look too good. thats why i was hoping someone already had one installed and their car and could take a pic of it for me
I know how you can see how it'll look. Just slip the new pad on top of the original like your supposed to and just don't glue it untill you know it'll look good. It just goes over top of your original dash.
I have one on the car I just bought and I think it looks like dirt. The black is not black, its gray. The cups for the vents are not as deep and the glue is not holding. It came with the car and I dont know where it came from.

i need an actual replacement. WOOT!
