I'm curious as well. What's the deal with the guy selling the dash covers for our cars on eBay?

The tittle said dash cover but I think he means dash pad replacement, so I just put up the cover to see if that is what he is talking about.

What year is your car? There are places that make dash caps for the 81-83 models.

I think that's wrong, my fall 2005 VB catalog has it for 80 bucks... I'm pretty sure all these places are getting their dash caps from the same source.

I think they should work well, I've seen walkthroughs on the web for the installs of them for other cars, I'm thinking about getting one soon.

I know how you can see how it'll look. Just slip the new pad on top of the original like your supposed to and just don't glue it untill you know it'll look good. It just goes over top of your original dash.

I have one on the car I just bought and I think it looks like dirt. The black is not black, its gray. The cups for the vents are not as deep and the glue is not holding. It came with the car and I dont know where it came from.
