Picked these up today for a good price, i like how....interesting they are. they look good on my car IMO. i don't have a full car view yet as i only put the backs on, the other two are bald to the belts. anyhow, anyone have any idea what kind of wheel this is? I'm curious. the only markings i found on them are "B111286" and the center caps say ultra.

all in all they're great, barely and curb rash, and they just need a polishing!

I'm not sure, but they remind me of a brand called Gotti.

 

I'm pretty sure that's a wheel (possibly for an RX7) and a tire?

Seriously....those are really cool....wish I could stumble on something like that.

they are american eagle series 380....banzai was vary close. the gotti look similar..

 

have a link anywhere on them? I want to get the full scoop on them, like offset and etc etc.


hopefully within the next few days I'll have a day off and I can go buy some tires for the other two, since they're toast.


Gotta find something to do with the stockers too......Either play time tires or sell them. Not sure.

Are they actually multi-piece wheels, or are the bolts just there for show? Nice find.

 

The bolts are just for show, unfortunately / fortunately depending on how you look at it. new tires arrive sometime this week, hopefully i'll have them on by the weekend!

 

Yep, American Racing 380's - I had a set drilled in 4x110 for my SA many, MANY years ago by a place called 'Super Shops', and they are 14x6 with a little less offset than came on the standard SA wheels which were 13x5.5". The offset was enough that I found out very quickly how to 'roll fenders' because on the trip home from Super Shops, I managed to cut both front tires by hitting small bumps, and it looked like you ran a razor knife along the tread all the way around the tire. I jacked the car up a bit, shoved a baseball bat up between the fender and tire, and let the jack down slowly, then rolled the car back and forth while holding the baseball bat in place - this is NOT the recommended method for rolling your fenders, but worked, nonetheless.

I think I ran everything in 14"x6" width tires including some 185/50-14 Pirelli P7's, which lasted on the fronts all of about 6 months (very soft rubber), and narrow to try and avoid slicing the tires again, up to where I settled on 205/60-14's which worked fine all around, allowed me to rotate them normally, and also gave a nice wide stance front and rear. In fact, these are the wheels and tires you see in this photo;



I originally liked the fact that this wheel style matches closely to the 1980 IMSA car which had the Gotti wheels, mentioned previously in the thread. My SE wears the 4x114.3 pattern which has been much easier for me to find wheels that I like.

 

I'll keep in mind about rolling the fenders. I've been debating doing a fender flare job, but that might have just sealed the deal.

also, damn those look sexy.

 

On a side note, here's the worst of the four wheels. Needs a little polishing, is all. barely any curb rash.
