Anyone ever paint there Dynamic Chamber

Would there be any ill effects to painting the outside of the dynamic chamber? I'm just throwing this out to see if it has been done, or should it be left natural so that it can disapaite heat?

Paint, polish, powdercoat. You can do any of them, no harm.

Personally, I like to paint the body one color, masking off the flat top part, then reverse mask and paint in a different color. After everything is dried, I will come back and sand the 2nd color off of the flat top, leaving the 2nd color in the letters. Sand the top, working down to 600-1000 grit wet-dry paper. You must use a stiff, flat block for this. Then clearcoat the entire thing.

This way you get a body color, a letter color and a polished look all in one. It looks sharp.
