Anyone else have this problem?

No tilt wheel sucks... When my foot is on the clutch my knee lodges between the door and the wheel. The FB was not made for a 6 foot 2 male

Get a new Momo or Kennedy wheel of smaller diameter OR the "D" stylr ( same width but shorter height ). Your new bulging biceps and forearms will make you look good, too

Wheel

He's got an Se, so if he has not removed the p/s he can put a 11 inch wheel on it and save his energy
Also i think a second gen seat would solve the problem because they sit lower. I dont have that problem since i have recaros in mySE and i am taller than you. Also at one time along time ago someone offered a seat extender kit. Before i got my recaros i had bought one. But that was over 15 years ago.

I feel you, I'm going to be getting a MOMO wheel soon and replacing the P/S pump...it's a shame the one on here doesnt work right now.

I've had a few sets of 2ed gen seats. cloth out of a gxl, an SE. and now cloth turbo II seats and i've found them to be taller then any 1st gen seats. yeah a smaller wheel would give you some more room.

heres a couple pictures of my momo race wheel for reference, it feels awesome and looks better, it matches the interior very well IMO. I got the wheel and hub for just under 300 dollars Canadian at a local shop during a sale... This is the 360mm version and any smaller would be too small without powersteering (IMO again)

That does look pretty sharp, although I don't know that I'd be able to extract that many USD from my miserly claws for a steering wheel. The colors on it do match very well, though.

He's 6'2". He's got the leverage to muscle it around the parking lots =p.

I have heard that you can remove the storage bins and relocate the seat farther from the wheel. Any truth to that?

Yes, you can ! And from that perspective way back there, may I suggest that the spare tire well offers plenty of opportunity as a multi-cup holder

Go with a 13" wheel and you will be fine. I have the Grant Evolution.
